(VOVworld) – National Assembly Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien spoke highly of recent achievements of Lai Chau during his visit to the province on Thursday.

National Assembly Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien worked with the authorities in Lai Chau province.

Mr. Hien said that in the past 6 months, Lai Chau has made progress in socio-economic development, and national defense. The NA Vice Chairman said transportation is Lai Chau’s top development issue and that Lai Chau should take advantage of its strength in forestry, industrial crops, and high-quality vegetables and fruit. He asked Lai Chau to continue improving its society, culture, healthcare, education, science, and technology.
