NA Vice Chairwoman chairs APPF-26 organizing committee debut ceremony
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong on Tuesday chaired a ceremony to debut the organizing committee of the 26th Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF-26).

The committee has 16 members headed by Ms. Phong. She called on committee members to strictly implement the resolutions of the Vietnamese National Assembly Standing Committee and the political projects reported to the Politburo, saying this is one of the political tasks to begin the diplomatic mission for 2018. Ms. Phong urged sub-committees to prepare for the forum’s activities and agenda to boost cooperation and the dialogue mechanism between the Vietnamese National Assembly and other regional parliaments.
