National Assembly Chairwoman pays tribute to heroic martyrs

(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on Wednesday paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the Ben Duoc Memorial Temple and the Sai Gon-Cho Lon-Gia Dinh Revolution Memorial Complex in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City, on the occasion of the 72nd War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

Later the same day, the top legislator visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Kieu Thi Nong, a martyr’s mother Tran Thi To, and war invalid Phan Van Du in Cu Chi.  She affirmed that the Party, State and people always bear in mind the great contributions by revolutionary predecessors, martyrs and soldiers to the nation.
