National Assembly Committee for Science, Technology, and Environment meets
(VOVworld) – Representatives of the Ministries of Science and Technology, and Natural Resources and Environment reported on their performance this year and introduced next year’s orientations.
According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, various projects have been effectively implemented since the beginning of this year including programs to reform national technology, support the application and transference of scientific and technological advances for socio-economic development in rural and mountain areas, and develop bio-fuel.
The National Assembly deputies said besides achievements in environmental protection, there remain violations of the law on environment and natural resources management. They also suggested enhancing supervision of state budget expenses for environmental protection activities in localities and mobilizing social resources for this field.
