National men’s football team enters FIFA’s top 100
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s national men’s football team has climbed two spots to find itself among the world’s top 100 teams this month, according to FIFA rankings released Thursday.
Vietnam’s national men’s football team is listed in the latest FIFA 100 ranking in November 2018.

With this ranking, the team has fulfilled its target of becoming one of the best 100 teams in the world set by Korean head coach Park Hang-seo. However, this is not Vietnam’s best ranking ever. Vietnam reached 84th place in 1998. Vietnam holds the number one place in the Southeast Asian region, followed by the Philippines and Thailand. Belgium tops the world rankings.
