Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, presents Tet gifts to the local people

He made the remarks on Saturday while visiting staff and soldiers of Nhon Nhung border station in An Giang province and extending Tet greetings to the local people. He also joined the local people at a ceremony to launch 2019 National Volunteer Year and a March Border program. Following the ceremony, Youth Union members organized medical check-ups and provided free medicines for 300 poor people in Tinh Bien district, planted 50 trees, and marched to raise the local people’s awareness on 2019 Traffic Safety Year with the theme ‘Traffic Safety for Passengers and Drivers.

On this occasion, Youth Union representatives presented gifts to 50 families of policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged Khmer households of Nhon Hung and An Phu communes, as well as prepared 50 Tet gift sets for border soldiers of Vinh Nguon border station, An Giang province.
