Nearly one million students begin national high school exam
(VOVWORLD) - More than 910,000 students nationwide began sitting a three-day national high school exam on Monday. In the morning, they faced a 2-hour test on Vietnamese literature and language, followed by a 90-minute math test in the afternoon.

Each student takes a total of five tests on literature, math, foreign language, natural sciences and/or social sciences.
The examination is a major event in the life of every student, as its results will determine both high school graduation and university admission.
Students can choose two natural science subjects or two social science subjects.
