This first Vietnamese Prime Ministerial level visit to Sweden for 20 years will create new momentum for partnership cooperation for mutual benefit and uplift bilateral relations to a new height. It reflects both sides’ wishes to promote bilateral friendship and cooperation as the two countries celebrate its 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties this year. Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam, Pereric Hogberg, hailed the significance of the Prime Minister’s visit as it took place just 3 weeks after the official visit to Vietnam by Crown Princess of Sweden. The Prime Minister is expected to hold talk with his Swedish counterpart and meet the Royal King of Sweden and Speaker of the Parliament. He will visit several leading Swedish companies and meet Vietnamese community representatives in Sweden.
