New Zealand Navy Frigate begins trip to Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - The Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN) Anzac class frigate HMNZS Te Mana (F111) anchored at Saigon port in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday, starting an official 5-day visit to Vietnam.

The trip includes a tribute to the Ho Chi Minh monument, courtesy calls on Vietnamese officials, a visit to the Nguyen Dinh Chieu School for children with visual impairment, and sports activities with the Vietnam People’s Navy. The visit marks the two countries’ 43rd anniversary of diplomatic ties (1975 – 2018).
