(VOVworld) - No Vietnamese deaths were reported after cyclone Pam, a massive tropical storm, lashed the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu last Friday, according to Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Vietnamese Embassy in Australia recommended ways to reduce loss during the cyclone and warned the Vietnamese community in Vanuatu to contact the Embassy or local authorities in case of an emergency. The Embassy has been watching the disaster situation closely and is prepared to provide emergency relief if necessary
