North Korea condemned US sanctions in retaliation for recent missile tests, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Tuesday. New sanctions against North Korea, Russia and Iran approved by the US Senate last Thursday could draw a large international response.

South Korean Foreign Ministry officials said South Korea, the US, and Japan will meet to discuss North Korea’s nuclear program.
