North Korea urges South Korea to restart cross-border economic projects

(VOVWORLD) - North Korean media outlets urged South Korea on Sunday to stop minding others' opinions and take action to restart two suspended cross-border economic cooperation projects called for by leader Kim Jong-un.

DPRK Today, one of the North's websites, accused the South of taking an indecisive attitude toward Kim's call to reopen the inter-Korean industrial complex in the North's border city of Kaesong and resume a tourism program to the North's scenic Mount Kumgang. Tongil Sinbo made a similar appeal, urging the South to respond positively to Kim's call for restarting the projects that had been considered among the most tangible symbols of inter-Korean reconciliation.
