North Korean leader receives personal letter from US President
(VOVWORLD) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un received a personal letter from US President Donald Trump and will put serious thought into its content, North Korea's state-run news agency KCNA said.
In a report published early on Sunday in Asia, KCNA did not give details on the letter, but said Kim described it as of excellent content and said he appreciates the political judgment and extraordinary courage of President Trump.
US President Donald Trump last Friday extended tariff deadline on North Korea for one more year due to threats from North Korea’s nuclear weapons. President Trump also continued for one year the national emergency with respect to North Korea declared in Executive Order 13466.
