Norway summoned Saudi ambassador over Khashoggi murder

(VOVWORLD) - Norway summoned Saudi Arabia’s ambassador over the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the Norwegian Foreign Minister said on Thursday.

Norway presented their point of view several times after it was known, said Norwegian Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Soereide on Friday.

Political commentator Khashoggi went missing while on a visit to the Saudi Arabian consulate on October 2 for paperwork to marry his Turkish fiancée.  He is a Saudi Arabian living in the US, and allegedly in the process of applying for US citizenship before he was killed. Saudi Arabia on October 20 said that Khashoggi died after a fight at the consulate in Istanbul, however, his body hasn’t been found.
