(VOVworld) - A Ministry of Transport delegation led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Cong visited Norway this week to seek measures to boost transport cooperation, particularly maritime transportation between the two countries.

They worked with the Norwegian Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Reynir Johannesson and the Deputy Minister of the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Fisheries Dilek Ayhan. Mr. Cong briefed them on Vietnam’s transport development policies and praised Norway’s support in maritime training. He urged Norway to share its experience and assist Vietnam in transport and maritime development, seaport management and development, and human resource training. Vietnam also proposed a bilateral agreement on maritime cooperation.
