OECD Secretary General Angel Gurria said each Briton could pay a "Brexit tax" equivalent to a month's salary by 2020. GDP of the UK would be 3.3% smaller by 2020 and 5.1% by 2030 than it would be if the UK stayed in the EU, as a result of economic uncertainty, higher tariffs, fewer migrant laborers, and a fluctuating pound. The OECD shared a similar report with the UK Treasury which estimated the Brexit cost to each household could be 6,100 USD.

The OECD joins the UK Treasury, the International Monetary Fund, and the G20 in seeing negative consequences from Britain leaving the EU.
