In his address, President Tran Dai Quang praised great contributions of trade union officials to national development. President Quang stressed the important role of trade union organizations in helping to protect workers’ legitimate interests: “It’s important to increase the capacity of trade union leaders at the grassroots level, especially trade union leaders at foreign invested and non-state enterprises. We need to reform training and help to improve trade union leaders' political stance and skills in carrying out trade union activities in order to mobilize workers’ creativity.”
