Pakistan calls for dialogue to solve Pakistan-India issues

(VOVWORLD) - Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Saturday that issues between Pakistan and India should be resolved through dialogue and diplomatic channels.

Qureshi made the remarks while addressing a press conference in Pakistan's eastern city of Lahore. He said that peace is Pakistan’s priority and Pakistan does not desire war with India.

Pakistani Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Saturday announced that the train service between Pakistan and India will resume operations. The move is considered a gesture of goodwill to ease tension between Islamabad and New Delhi.

Indian Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said Saturday that India is ready to extend support to Pakistan to deal with terrorism on the neighbor's soil.
