Parliamentary diplomacy hailed as a pillar of Vietnam’s diplomacy,
(VOVWORLD) - The 30th Diplomatic Conference convened its plenary session on Thursday, discussing parliamentary diplomacy during the extensive international integration process.

Addressing the session, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan hailed parliamentary diplomacy as a pillar of Vietnam’s diplomacy, to realize Party resolutions objectives in foreign relations: “Foreign relations channels, especially State, Party, National Assembly and people’s diplomacy, should be strengthened to maximize positive outcomes. Our focus is on boosting relations with neighboring countries, the ASEAN, strategic partners and traditional friends, while fostering new relationships to promote multilateral diplomacy.”
