Speaking at a congress of Hai Phong City’s Party Committee on Thursday, Mr. Dung asked the authority to implement three strategic breakthroughs, improve investment and trade environment, and attract domestic and foreign investments for infrastructure and agricultural projects.
He said: “The province should focus on developing high value-added trade and services, particularly with the advantages of its seaport, maritime services, and logistics. Tourism investment should be on a par with improved infrastructure and services to promote its maritime advantages.”

Prime Minister Dung asked Hai Phong to strive to become a national center for education, science, technology, and healthcare while ensuring social security policies, job generation, and sustainable poverty reduction. He asked the participants to contribute opinions to draft documents to the 12th National Party Congress.
