Party Central Committee opens sixth session
(VOVWORLD) - The 12th Party Central Committee opened its sixth session in Hanoi on Wednesday. The committee will discuss the socio-economic and financial-budgetary situation for this year and draft a socio-economic development plan and financial-budgetary estimates for next year.

Also high on the agenda will be healthcare and population issues, the reform of public service institutions and the organization of a lean and effective political system.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said the meeting’s agenda covers fundamental and urgent issues relevant to socio-economic development and political and economic reform in line with the Resolutions of the 12th National Party Congress.
