Party Central Committee’s 8th session enters 3rd working day
(VOVWORLD) - On its 3rd working day, the Party Central Committee discussed the report reviewing 10-year implementation of the Party resolution on the Vietnam Maritime Strategy until 2020.
The same day, the Party Central Committee reviewed and decided to take disciplinary measures against Nguyen Bac Son, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Party Committee and former Minister of Information and Communications by removing him from the position of member of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry for the 2011-2016 tenure.
The committee also reviewed and decided to take disciplinary measures against Tran Van Minh, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission, former Vice Secretary of the Da Nang Municipal Party Committee, and former Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee by expelling him from the Communist Party of Vietnam
