Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has participated in a meeting in praise of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the new Spring. Speaking at the celebration held by the Party Central Committee’s Office in Hanoi today/Wednesday, the Party leader recognized the important role of the Office in its advisory to the Politbureau and Secretariat as well as the successful organization of the National Party Congress and numerous plenums.

During his New Year visit to the Vietnam News Agency in Hanoi the same day, the Party leader underlined the Vietnam News Agency’s role and responsibility as a reliable strategic information provider of the Party and State. He urged the VNA to continue its renovation of content and format while developing a contingent of proficient reporters, who are firm politically and ideologically to better perform their duties and contribute to national construction and defense.
