Party leader and President Nguyen Phu Trong attended  the Festival of Great National Unity in Hanoi on November  14, 2018

He said the Vietnam Fatherland Front initiated the festival 16 years ago to encourage the public to uphold their responsibility for national unity. He applauded local citizens for upholding that spirit and gaining impressive socio-economic achievements. He said: “Unity leads to success, disunity is doomed to failure. Thanks to great national unity, different social classes and ethnic groups from different parts of Vietnam join forces for national construction and defense under the Party’s leadership.”

The Party and State leader presented gifts to exemplary households who have a healthy lifestyle and contribute to their residential areas.
