Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has expressed his delight with the decreasing rate of poor households in the central coastal province of Binh Dinh. During his Tet visit to the province, Party leader Trong highlighted the province’s achievements in the first year of implementing the 11th National Party Congress Resolution. He visited An Nhon commune, which is one of the four role models in building new rural areas. The Party leader urged the commune to further uphold the heroic tradition. He said: “I hope that local people will continue to unite and exert more efforts to further develop the local economy while maintaining cultural values, social order and security. It is important that the party building work be strengthened, and party members stay closely with people to fight against bureaucracy and corruption. Building new rural areas needs to be a focal task. Local authorities need to make sure that everyone, particularly the poor households have a happy and joyful Tet”.

The same day, Party leader Trong wished the local party and people a new year full of joys and successes. He urged authorities and party members in the province to spare no efforts to make the 11th National Party Congress resolution a success.
