(VOVworld) – A seminar to highlight Party General Secretary Le Duan’s contributions to the national renewal process took place in Hanoi on Monday to mark his 110^th birth anniversary.

In his address, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education Vo Van Thuong said: "As a Party leader, Mr. Le Duan worked with the Party Central Committee to find ways to build a new society in Vietnam after peace was restored in the country. He laid the firm foundation for national renewal which was initiated by the Communist Party of Vietnam at its 6^th National Congress in 1986.”
