(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong  has praised the Central Military Commission’s accomplishment of its tasks, upholding the army’s leading role in safeguarding national independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity and building an all-people defense.

Addressing the year-end meeting of the Commission in Hanoi on Wednesday, Party leader Trong urged more efforts to build strategic trust, enhance the military’s stature, implement the Party and State’s foreign policies, and increase the leadership and capacity of the party organ on military affairs.
