Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong works with the Vietnam National Coal Mineral Industries Group in Quang Ninh province

(VOVworld)- Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong on Saturday visited and held a working session with the Vietnam National Coal Mineral Industries Group in Quang Ninh province. The Party leader inspected the environmental recovery activities in Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company, and the shaft tower of the project on coal exploitation in Nui Beo coal underground mine in Ha Long city. The project is implemented by Vietnamese engineers and miners at a depth of more than 400 meters. This is one of the projects that shift from open-cast mining exploitation into underground exploitation. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said:“One of the major ideas of the 11^th Party Congress is to enhance the development both in width and depth and ensure a rapid and sustainable growth. Sustainability means that we must have outlets for our products and at the same time, protecting the environment, ensuring safety and improving lives for workers. In the current context, we must focus on in- depth development and the quality of the growth in order to ensure a sustainable growth”.

The Party leader expressed his hope that the Vinacomin group will develop further contributing to the socio economic development of Quang Ninh province.
