(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, who is also head of the Central Steering Committee on Corruption Prevention and Control, has urged stronger efforts and actions to eliminate corruption.

At the 11^th session of the Committee on Wednesday, the Party leader said positive changes have been reported due to close coordination between the Committee and relevant agencies and the contributions made by individual members of the Committee. He stressed the need to continue disseminating information and educate the public about combating corruption as well as implementing the Politburo’s Directive on studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality, style and the Resolution of the Party Central Committee’s plenum on Party building.
