The Pentagon said on Tuesday it has been "very transparent" with South Korea's government about the deployment of its Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile system, after South Korean President Moon Jae-in expressed concern about the arrival of additional launchers. Pentagon spokesperson Jeff Davis said the US continues to work very closely with the South Korea government and it has been very transparent in all of its actions. The statement came after President Moon Jae-in ordered a probe into four THAAD launchers which he said were brought into South Korea without being reported. Two other launchers were installed before his inauguration.
