(VOVworld) - Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said on Tuesday that talks with China about sea disputes are likely to take place this year.

He added that he will not raise the issue at the ASEAN Summit to be held next month in Vientiane, Laos, but will discuss it with partners if others wish it.

The Presidential Communications Operations Office announced that President Duterte will tour several ASEAN countries in early September.
