(VOVWORLD) - Photos featuring iconic moments for Vietnamese football in 2018 were showcased in an exhibition at Hanoi’s Temple of Literature on Wednesday.

The pictures are part of a photo book entitled “2018 – Historical hallmark of Vietnam football” by photographer Nguyen A.
The book is described as a photo diary of 500 photos capturing Vietnamese players in their matches and joyous fans celebrating victory in 2018.
2018 was a successful year for Vietnamese football – the U23 national men’s football team finished second at the 2018 Asian Football Confederation Championship; the Olympic team qualified for the semi-finals of the 2018 Asian Games (ASIAD 18); and the national football team won the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup.
