Working as an AFP journalist from 1976 to 2006, Michel Blanchard was bureau chief of the AFP in Hanoi for two years, from 1981 to 1983. He continued to visit Vietnam for over ten years as a writer of travel guides. The exhibition will be a unique opportunity for the Vietnamese to savor the nostalgia of the country before the great transformation of the 1990s took place. The exhibition opened with a discussion with Michel Blanchard about the life of a press correspondent in Hanoi in the 80s. It will close on April 30.
