(VOVworld) – The northern province of Phu Tho will strengthen its cooperation with Laos. The President of Phu Tho’s People’s Committee made the commitment at a reception hosted by Laotian Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong in Vientiane yesterday. The Laotian leader praised Phu Tho’s delegation as an example of the two countries’ policy of friendship and cooperation. President Thammavong asked for Phu Tho’s assistance in intensive manpower training to meet practical needs. He hoped that the ties between Phu Tho province and localities of northern Laos like Luong Nam Tha and U Dom Xay would become bright examples of the Vietnam-Laos friendship in the future.
