PM calls Dong Thap province shining star in business environment
(VOVWORLD) -Dong Thap province has been a shining star in the investment and business climate as well as a role model for administrative services, said Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at an investment promotion conference in Cao Lanh city on Tuesday.

Mr. Phuc said that good connectivity, which is key for the province’s success, provides a valuable lesson for other localities, particularly between production and the market, and between material areas, technology application and farmers.
“Dong Thap should concentrate on developing agriculture towards being greener and more transparent to create the cornerstone for growth. Greater efforts should be made to attract leading businesses to high-technology, organic agriculture and the processing industry,” PM Phuc said.
To mark the occasion, Dong Thap launched a one-door electronic public service. Dong Thap is the Mekong Delta region’s rice production hub. For many years, the province has been a leading locality in the Provincial Competitiveness Index and Public Administrative Performance Index.
