At a meeting with WB Vice President for East Asia and Pacific Victoria Kwakwa in Hanoi on Tuesday, PM Phuc said Vietnam continues to treasure the WB’s support, for not only its long-term loans but also policy consultancy to help the Vietnamese Government improve macroeconomic management. Kwakwa congratulated Vietnam on its recent socio-economic achievements, adding Vietnam's economy has good prospects thanks to positive indicators related to its exports and FDI attraction. She noted that Vietnam is likely to reach a growth rate of 6.8 percent in 2018, expressing her belief that Vietnam’s economic development will be stronger in the time to come.
