PM checks naval forces’ combat readiness
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged all forces of the Vietnam People’s Navy to be well prepared for all possible contingencies to fulfill their task of safeguarding national sovereignty.
During his working visit to the portal city of Hai Phong on Wednesday, Mr. Phuc paid an inspection tour to the High Command of Vietnam People's Navy, where he wished naval officers and soldiers a happy and safe Lunar New Year holiday and high combat readiness. The Prime Minister called for a spirit of making breakthrough to contribute more to national construction and defense. He called on officers and soldiers to train their fighting will and improve defense external affairs and international cooperation, particularly with ASEAN.
