PM leaves for 10th Mekong-Japan summit

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Sunday left for Tokyo for the 10thMekong-Japan summit which marks 10 years of the Mekong-Japan cooperation and 3 years of the 2015 Tokyo Strategy.

Vietnam’s participation at the event demonstrates its commitment to the cooperation mechanism. On the occasion, the Prime Minister will pay a visit to Japan to further the Vietnam-Japan Extensive Strategic Partnership and increase mutual trust, especially in the context that the two countries are celebrating the 45th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.
