PM meets Chinese business leaders

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has said Vietnam is ready to welcome China’s outstanding, hi-tech companies to invest in Vietnam and do no harm to Vietnam’s environment.

Mr. Phuc made the statement at Friday meeting on the sidelines of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing with Jonathan Choi, Chairman of China’s Hong Kong Sunwah Group and Chairman of the Hong Kong-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Choi said a delegation of China’s Quang Zhou province with the biggest number of businesspeople ever will come to Hanoi to prepare for the investment promotion forum between Hanoi and Quang Zhou.

On the same day, Prime Minister Phuc received David Chow Kam Fai, Chairman of Legendale Group from China’s Macau, who showed his interest in Vietnam and wanted to invest in tourism and hi-tech agriculture. Mr. Phuc welcomed the Macau Group’s plan, saying he will instruct Vietnamese ministries and localities to work with them.
