PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc attends G20 Summit sessions

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended discussions in the framework of the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan on Saturday focusing on sustainable development, women, environment, energy and climate change.

Speaking to the Japanese media prior to his visit to Japan for the summit, the Prime Minister praised Vietnam’s practical contribution to the G20 Summit agenda, including its implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda on sustainable development, climate change response, maritime environmental protection, plastic wastes and women empowerment. Vietnam has shared to international friends its view and efforts to address global issues for peace and prosperity for all.

On Saturday morning, the Prime Minister held bilateral talks with his Australian counterpart Scott Morrison and the President of the Asian Development Bank ADB.
