PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc gives instruction on awards for Vietnamese Sea Games 30 athletes
(VOVWORLD) - The Government Office has issued a dispatch on the Prime Minister’s instruction to review and give awards to athletes in recognition of their performance at the 30th Sea Games.

The Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to report on the Vietnamese sports delegations at the competition and make suggestion for a meeting between the government leader and the sport delegation prior to December 16. The Vietnamese athletes have gone beyond their target to bring home 98 gold medals and earn the 2nd ranking in the medal tally. It was the first time both the male and female football teams won gold medals in Sea Games.
