PM pledges optimal conditions for ExxonMobil

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam will create the best possible conditions for ExxonMobil's cooperation programs and projects in Vietnam, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said during Tuesday's  reception in Hanoi for Jon Gibbs, the US oil and gas group' Vice President  for Asia  Pacific and Middle East.

Mr. Phuc said the Vietnamese Government has approved the planning scheme for the Gas Treatment and Power Center in the central region, in which environmental protection and welfare of the people are the biggest requirements.

Gibbs expressed his hope that the Government of Vietnam will facilitate the group’s cooperation projects with PetroVietnam and other projects to build power plants in Vietnam.

Established in 1859, ExxonMobil is a multinational oil and gas corporation headquartered in Irving, Texas. It  is the largest refiner in the world, with 37 oil refineries in 21 countries with a combined daily refining capacity of 6.3 million barrels.
