PM pushes to establish National Innovation Center
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has emphasized the urgent need to establish the National Innovation Center (NIC) as part of Vietnam’s strategy to adapt to Industry 4.0.

Mr. Phuc met with officials and international consultants on Monday to accelerate the building of the center in the Red River Delta, which will be a catalyst for economic development based on science, technology, and innovation.
The NIC will focus on products and services for smart cities and plants, cybersecurity, digital contents, and environmental technology.
Prime Minister Phuc said that the center should attract talented Vietnamese professionals all over the world and be closely linked with business development. He affirmed the NIC will meet the highest standards, adding that the center will become a hub for startup businesses.
