At a reception for Fransisco Assis Moraise Cunha Vazpatto, the Portuguese Ambassador to Thailand and Vietnam, the Prime Minister agreed on the need to boost bilateral cooperation in tourism, sports, culture, economics, and trade. The Ambassador said Portugal supported the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement and will make further efforts for its signing and implementation.

At a reception for the Serbian Ambassador to Vietnam and Indonesia, Slobodan Marinkovic, Prime Minister Phuc urged the two countries to boost economics and trade ties in the near future. He suggested that both sides organize a Vietnam-Serbia Business Forum in Hanoi and HCM City to facilitate their enterprises and boost cooperation.
