PM reiterates government’s resolve to hold inflation below 4%
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has reiterated the Government’s resolve to keep this year’s inflation below 4% and asked the State Bank of Vietnam to continue measures to macro-economic stability.

Mr. Phuc made the request while chairing the Government’s monthly meeting in Hanoi to review the socio-economic situation in July and over the first 7 months of this year.
He asked the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to take stronger measures to manage reservoirs and dams to reduce flooding.
Prime Minister Phuc asked for reduction of business conditions to help businesses obtain credit and land, and cut costs.
He criticized several ministries and localities for not doing enough to accelerate the equitization of State-owned enterprises.
