PM underlines Vietnam-Laos special relationship
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that the Vietnam-Laos relationship has been constantly nurtured and consolidated, calling on the young generations of both countries to preserve, and promote this traditional friendship and special solidarity.
Phuc made the remark at a reception for Lao Foreign Minister Saleumxay Kommasith, who is in Vietnam for the annual consultation between the two Foreign Ministries. The Prime Minister reiterated that Vietnam allows Laos to use its sea ports and he pledged to boost the Hanoi-Vientiane highway project, bilateral exchanges, and educational cooperation, including the training of Lao students in Vietnam.
