(VOVworld) – The Prime Minister’s Office has announced the Prime Minister’s conclusion after working sessions with localities, which reported mass fish deaths recently.

The Prime Minister agreed with the assessments of ministry and locality leaders that this has been the first case in Vietnam so it needs prompt, careful, and scientific evidence to determine the causes and prevent similar future incidents. The Prime Minister asked ministries and localities to be ready for any circumstances and ensure security and order. He asked the State Bank of Vietnam to steer credit organizations in exempting or deferring loan payments for fishermen and provide them with preferential loans when needed. He also asked the Ministry of Public Security to investigate and punish those who incited people to cause social disorder, which is detrimental to people’s daily life and the investment environment.
