PPP performance improvement discussed in Ho Chi Minh City

(VOVWORLD) -The World Bank and Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee held a workshop on Wednesday to discuss Public-Private Partnership model to mobilize more resources for infrastructure development. 

Delegates shared international experience in PPP projects in healthcare, education, waste treatment and water discharges. They called for open and transparent tender process as well as template contracts in various fields to save investors’ time and cost. The municipal mayor, Nguyen Thanh Phong, told the event: “We commit best investment environment for investors’ long-term projects in Ho Chi Minh City. We expect investors to trust our administrative reform as a breakthrough to improve competitiveness and lure investment.”
