(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang met with voters in district 4, HCM city on Wednesday. He said that the Party and state were resolved to fight corruption and positive results had been achieved. He added, however, that the set targets had not been met, calling on the relevant agencies to increase their responsibility in this fight.

With regard to public administration, the President said the number of administrative officials in Vietnam was comparable with that of other regional countries. He urged for higher work quality and cooperation between the people and state to prevent wastefulness.

He also asked city authorities to answer voters’ queries concerning education and healthcare. He visited the Ba Son Corporation of the Ministry of National Defense on the same day.
