(VOVworld) State President Truong Tan Sang laid the wreaths at the Martyrs’ Monument in Nhon Trach district in the northern province of Dong Nai on Tuesday, the second day of the Lunar New Year.

He then met with workers at the Nhon Trach industrial zone, who haven’t returned home during Tet. While extending his New Year wishes to the workers, he urged the leaders and the Trade Union to pay more attention to the workers’ living conditions. Mai Van Hau, an employee of Formorsa Company expresses his feeling: "We are very happy to receive the President and representatives of the Trade Union. We acknowledge the Party, State, and company’ care for our lives."   Visiting the workers’ apartments in Bien Hoa city, Sang says: "I appreciate the company’s leaders, the local authority, and social organizations for ensuring a sufficient Tet for the workers. We wish you higher incomes, and better care for your children. I hope you will continue to improve your profession and skills and work harder to become well-off."
